OnBidder Auction Sniper
Software For Sniping Auctions
OnBidder is an award-winning software that makes your eBay bids for you
automatically, at the last second. Just tell it your maximum bid, in advance,
and OnBidder will do the rest for you.
The way it works is simple. You tell OnBidder the maximum bid you want to make.
Then, seconds before the auction closes, it makes the lowest bid possible –
closing the sale at the best price. And, because it makes the bid at the last
moment, other people don’t have time to react. Once the bid’s made, the item’s
as good as yours.
Why would I use OnBidder?
Bidding on an eBay auction normally goes on for days. One person places his bid.
Later another person comes along and bids until he is the highest bidder. During
the course of an auction this process often repeats itself many times, it is
known as a “bidding war” and it drives the price of an auction up.
OnBidder helps you avoid this bidding war by using its award-winning “precision
bidding” technology. The software waits until the final seconds of the auction
to submit your bid. By doing this, you get the item at the lowest price
possible.
OnBidder also allows you to change your mind in the last minutes before an
auction ends. Since the program holds your bid until a few seconds before the
auction closes, you can always change it anytime until about 5 minutes before
auction end.
There are many other reasons for using OnBidder such as bidding on multiple
items or eBay auction sniping with a dial-up connection.

How long before an auction does OnBidder place the bid?
OnBidder places your bid 60 seconds before the end of the auction. This is the
optimal time interval to ensure your bid gets placed successfully.
OnBidder does not recommend dropping this time interval to lower than 60
seconds due to delays that might be caused by the speed at which your Internet
connection calls eBay or an increased activity level on eBay’s website.
How much does OnBidder cost?
OnBidder costs just £19.99 or $39.99 for a 12-month subscription.

What’s the difference between OnBidder and the eBay proxy bidding tool?
When you place a bid with eBay, you decide on the maximum you would pay for an
item and eBay's proxy bidding system will bid on your behalf. However, eBay’s
bidding system reviews the auction at specific time intervals.
In other words, eBay only looks at the status of an auction every 5 minutes and
does not change this interval as the auction comes to a close. OnBidder
specializes in bidding within the last 60 seconds of an auction. Because eBay’s
proxy bidding system is automated, it regularly misses the last seconds of an
auction.
With the eBay proxy bidding tool, you may not only lose the bid at the last
minute but you may also end up paying up to a higher price as it will
automatically raise your bid (up to your limit) if someone has placed a higher
bid. With OnBidder you will pay the minimum amount, which may mean you spend
substantially lower than your maximum OnBidder price.
OnBidder will bid only as much as is needed for you to remain the highest
bidder.
Does OnBidder work with any other online auctions other than eBay?
Currently, OnBidder works with eBay auctions and eBay websites worldwide.
OnBidder will consider integrating with other online auction sites in the future
depending on demand.
How does OnBidder bid on a number of similar items, ensuring I win only one at
the price I want?
When you see several auctions selling the same item you want, simply place them
all in a folder in My Bids and type in your maximum bid. As soon as one of them
wins, OnBidder will cancel all the others in that group, automatically. It’s a
great way to increase your chances of winning, and getting a lower price too.
And you can have as many active My Bid folders as you’d like.
